SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others,
faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”

Sunday Cafe: Our cafe is open each Sunday from 9 am-9:45 for coffee and pastries! Cafe volunteers help foster a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere where people can connect and engage in conversation. This role is perfect for those who enjoy hospitality, working in a team, and creating a warm and inviting environment for fellowship.

Hospitality: Greeters play an essential part in creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, making everyone feel valued and comfortable from the moment they walk in.

  • Door greeters and individuals who pass out our weekly handouts
  • Welcome Center Hosts
  • Parking Lot Greeters

New Life Kids: This is available for preschool through 6th grade! Kid’s church splits the grades into 2-3 groups that rotate between 3 classrooms. Volunteering in Kid’s Church on a Sunday morning allows individuals to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children by teaching them about faith, values, and Bible stories in a fun and engaging way.

Safety Team: Volunteers work closely with church leadership and other teams to implement safety protocols and address any issues that arise. This role is ideal for individuals who are attentive, calm under pressure, and committed to helping others feel safe while attending church.

Usher Team: Ushers play a key role in creating a respectful, organized atmosphere while offering a welcoming and helpful presence. This position is ideal for those who enjoy serving behind the scenes and supporting the overall flow of the worship experience.

Wednesday Cafe: Work together to create a hospitable atmosphere, providing an opportunity for fellowship and connection over food. It’s a great role for those who enjoy serving others, working as part of a team, and contributing to the church’s sense of community through shared meals.

New Life Youth: Volunteering at a church’s youth group involves mentoring and building relationships with teens, helping them grow in their faith and navigate life’s challenges. You also provide support, encouragement, and guidance to students, fostering a fun and safe environment where teens can connect with one another and deepen their spiritual journey. It’s an opportunity for those passionate about investing in the next generation and being a positive influence in the lives of young people.

Women’s Ministry: Individuals can expect to engage in activities designed to support, encourage, and empower women within the congregation. Volunteers often collaborate to create a welcoming environment where women can share their experiences, build relationships, and deepen their faith.

Life Group Leaders: Leading a life group at church is a deeply impactful way to nurture spiritual growth and foster meaningful connections within the community. As a life group leader volunteer, you have the unique opportunity to create a safe and supportive environment where members can share their experiences, ask questions, and explore their faith together. Your leadership helps guide discussions, facilitates prayer, and encourages accountability, making a lasting difference in the lives of those you serve. By investing your time and energy into this role, you’re not only helping others deepen their relationship with God but also building a strong, vibrant community that supports one another through life’s challenges and celebrations.

Glass Slipper: When volunteering for The Glass Slipper outreach event, individuals can expect to play a vital role in creating a positive and uplifting experience for teenage girls. Volunteers will assist with organizing and setting up the event space, helping girls select dresses, shoes, and accessories that make them feel confident and beautiful. They will also have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, offering encouragement and support. Additionally, volunteers will participate in prayer sessions, helping girls bring their concerns and needs before God. It’s a rewarding experience that fosters empowerment, connection, and community within the church and beyond.

Grounds Crew: It’s a great opportunity for those who love gardening, landscaping, or simply want to help maintain a beautiful space for worship and community gatherings.

Other – New Life values the unique talents and skills each volunteer brings, recognizing that these gifts can significantly enhance our community and ministry efforts.
