The Glass Slipper: Empowering Girls, Bringing Joy

At our church, the Glass Slipper ministry is all about helping teenage girls feel beautiful and confident for their special moments like prom and homecoming, while sharing God’s love with them. We’ve been doing this for 17 years, providing free dresses, shoes, accessories, and makeup to thousands of young ladies across Indiana, not just in Brown County!

Why Shop with Us?

When you or your daughter shops at the Glass Slipper, it’s more than just finding the perfect prom dress—it’s an experience of care and encouragement. Every Saturday in January, by appointment, we open our doors to make sure each girl feels special. Whether you’re looking for a dress, jewelry, shoes, or makeup, it’s all available at no cost or by a free-will donation. It’s a fun, stress-free way to find everything you need for prom!

In 2024, we gave away over 400 dresses! We’d love to help you find the dress that makes your daughter feel like the confident, beautiful young woman she is. Don’t miss the chance to book your slot this year—appointments for the 2025 event will be available starting December 26th on our Glass Slipper Facebook page. Keep an eye out for the link because slots will fill up fast for each weekend in January!

Why Volunteer with Us?

If you’re part of our church or a believer that attends elsewhere, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference. Volunteering with the Glass Slipper is a joyful way to serve, whether by helping girls find their perfect dresses or by offering prayer support and encouragement. Your time could make a huge impact on a young girl’s life and remind her of her worth and beauty.

We also gladly accept donations of formal wear, shoes, jewelry, makeup, and accessories! If you’d like to help by donating or volunteering, reach out to the church or contact Allison Watters. Let’s work together to bless more families and make this year’s event even better!
