Our Core Beliefs
God the Father, the Son, & the Holy Spirit
We believe in the existence of the only living and true God. Within the Godhead are three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all equal in power and glory. Our triune God created, sustains, upholds, and governs all. The Father is the one living and true God, completely Holy. Jesus Christ, conceived by the Virgin Mary, is the Father’s only begotten Son. He was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead, ascending to Heaven, where He intercedes for us. The Holy Spirit empowers believers for life and service, endowing them with gifts for ministry within the body of Christ and outreach to others.

Inspired Word Of God
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, flawless, and infallible Word. The Old and New Testaments provide a comprehensive revelation of God’s will for humanity’s redemption. God has safeguarded His Word throughout history, serving as the ultimate authority on truth, morality, and human conduct. The Scriptures are our primary guide, relevant to every aspect of life.

Salvation
We affirm that redemption is solely through Jesus Christ, whose sacrificial death and resurrection offer the only path to salvation. Salvation is a gift received through faith and God’s grace, not by human merit. It is a complete and eternal transformation, uniting individuals with God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. By acknowledging Jesus’ atonement for sin, individuals are forgiven and restored to a new life empowered by the Holy Spirit. This new life is characterized by freedom and integrity, made possible by Jesus’ work on the Cross.
Acts 4:12,16:31; Romans 10:9-10; John 14:6
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a separate experience of salvation. The Holy Spirit is with us at salvation fulfilling the righteousness of the New Covenant. The baptism of the Holy Spirit allows Christ to be in us empowering us so that Christ can work through us.
Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4; Joel 2:28-32
Nature of Man
We believe that humanity is created in the image of God, reflecting His divine attributes and intended for a relationship with Him. However, humanity’s deliberate disobedience led to spiritual and physical death, necessitating spiritual rebirth for salvation.
Genesis 1-2; Romans 3:23, 5:8, 6:23, 10:9, 10:13; Colossians 1:16-17; Revelation 20:10
Baptism & Communion
We affirm the significance of baptism and communion as sacred ordinances instituted by Jesus Christ for the Church. Baptism, conducted through immersion, symbolizes faith in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, publicly identifying believers with Him. Communion, open to believers, commemorates Christ’s sacrificial death and serves as a symbol of spiritual nourishment and unity within the Body of Christ.
Matthew 18:15-17; Acts 1:8, 8:26-39, 15:4-28, 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 1:22, 4:11, 5:23-24; Colossians 1:18; 1 Timothy 3:15
Jesus Christ’s Return
We believe in the literal, personal, visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ and the establishment of His Kingdom’s fullness, and this expectation should encourage the believer to live a godly and fruitful life.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Thessalonians 1:6-12; Revelation 20:1-6
Resurrection
We affirm the bodily resurrection of all: the saved to eternal life with God and the unsaved to judgment and separation from Him.
Matthew 25:26; Luke 16:19-26; John 5:28-29; 2 Corinthians 5:5-10; Philippians 1:23; 2 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:1-6, 12-15
Marriage
We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: marriage sanctioned by God, which joins one man, as created by God, and one woman, as created by God, in a single, exclusive union, as defined in Scripture.
Genesis 2:12-24; Matthew 19:4-6
Grace & Mercy
We believe God extends redemption and restoration to all who seek His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. We recognize the inherent value of every individual and are committed to demonstrating compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity to all. Any behavior or attitude contrary to this is incompatible with Scripture, the Church, and our core beliefs.
